What Type of Tea Ball Should You Get?

There is no better way to enjoy the amazing taste of tea brewed from fresh tea leaves with the ease of cleanup that is associated with a tea bag than with a tea ball. Tea balls, also known as tea infusers or tea eggs, have been around for several centuries, and are the absolute best way to enjoy an amazing cup of freshly brewed tea. If you enjoy drinking a daily cup or two of tea hot or iced, then you owe it to yourself to experience this wonderful device firsthand.

While using a tea ball is certainly not rocket science, there is quite a bit of fuss about which ball you should bring home from your local store. Tea balls come in all different shapes and sizes and are designed for multiple purposes. For just a couple of dollars, you can get a tea infuser that has been manufactured for one single cup. As the price goes up, so do the amount of cups that you can brew with a single ball ranging to balls so large that you could brew entire vats of tea with them and create enough piping hot beverage for groups of nearly one hundred.

When looking for the perfect tea infuser for your home use though, you need to think about how often you will use it and how large of a pot of tea you would want to brew. If you live alone or with one other person who enjoys tea as much as you do, then a smaller ball will probably be more than enough for your purposes. On the other hand, if you regularly find yourself guzzling tea as though it were going out of style, you may want to consider investing in a much larger ball instead. After all, the tea ball your purchase should last you for many uses, and in the long run it will save you money over expensive pre-bagged teas.
